Mark Thompson (UK) Cheat Sheet

-One product, one idea
-the upsell has to compliment the product
-The 2nd upsell can be a done-for-you service
-Call it an "upgrade" not a one time offer.
-Give them a free chapter or module from the upsell
-Send out a follow up email reminding of the free chapter that you gave
-$27 for upsell, $37 for 2nd upsell
-The first product isn't really the product, the first upsell is the product
-Contests are unnecessary
-Always check and see what else is launching…avoid launching around the same time as the big guys
-Getting WSO means another 300-400 sales
-10 to 14% conversion rate is good
-Be selective about who you approve
-Just approve people who type a message or you know who they are…ask them how they will promote. Don't approve people who use traffic exchanges or solo ads because the conversions will be low
-If they don't have many posts on the Warrior forum, don't approve them unless you know who they are
-You don't want them to lower your EPCs
-Warrior plus is a bit more streamlined in the checkout process, therefore he prefers Warrior Plus
-To write the sales page, look at similar successful products and see how they were sold.
-Have PROOF, a good headline, and testimonials
-Take your main benefit and turn it into a headline…focus on the benefits, introduce yourself, show what you've done in the past, you can include a video if you want…it doesn't make a difference
-Either pay $2,000 to $3,000 for copy or write it yourself
-Make the initial product short
