Walt Bayliss Cheat Sheet

-The most important part after the product itself
-Don't reach out to JVs until the product is finished
-First, create a JV page http://hangoutplugin.com/jv/
-Needs to see what the product is, what it does, how it works, a short video, a demo of the sales copy
-Tends not to send JVs until sales copy is ready…if not, put a video saying "sales copy is coming" and tell who the copy writer is…endorse who they are massively with proof of their success
-JV partners on a special mailing list
-If you've never launched a product before then you should talk about why you're launching the product
-Give them a reason to get on your JV list…offer a commission bump for people who opt in
-Opt in to get updates
-Also give them a pre made bonus page if they are on the list…just use pre made PLR products for bonuses…3 bonus products maximum
-You can use Mark Thompson's Bonus Press vault
-There is no substitute for relationship building
-If you want someone to mail for you then do something for them…like make a video testimonial…do the video, send them the link
-Go to Warrior Plus and JVZoo. Sort by # of products sold. Send those product creators private messages on the Warrior Forum. At least the top 30. "Hi, I'm just about to do my first launch on the Warrior forum. I saw that you did X sales. Here's a free copy of my WSO. I'd love you to mail for me"
-There's nothing worse than a copy and paste message "Hey there!". Personalize the first paragraph..say something nice, then attach form letter.
-Shoot a personal video for the top 30-40 affiliates…make them private on Youtube
-"Would it be ok for me to contact you about this launch in any of these ways? Facebook, email, Skype?" It gives you an instant approach to that superstar JV partner
-Put it on Munch Eye and all the other calendar's a month before
-Don't copy and paste launch announcements everyday in Facebook and Skype groups
-Instead do an official announcement on Facebook…then add to it with updates
-Change it when you post on Skype…change it a bit…"This is the second time I'm announcing, but here's a change…"
-"Copy and paste will kill your launch"
-10 days out personally contact JVs, 7 days out, 48 hours out, 24 hours out, 12 hours, 3 hours, we're live
-Don't launch too soon just because your product is finished…you'll lose money
-If you have case studies, great, but if you don't, be honest and show your results
-Don't fake screenshots because if you get caught you will get burned to the stake

-Don't write your own sales page unless you're a copywriter…pay $500
-If you can't afford a great copy letter, get good copywriter to do the initial draft, and get the best to do the edit
-If you don't have any money, write it yourself but with a template from another successful launch
-You need to fully understand your buyers in order to sell to them
-Get your graphics done for $200 in the Warrior forum
-Make sure the buy button is easy to find
-Use BIG action steps…there need to be scan points so that…the big subheadlines
-The big benefits need to jump out…graphical
-You should budget $500-$700 for a launch
-If you price your WSO under $10 you need to give 100% to JVs
