Mid-month expense report

I just want to make sure I’m still on schedule with my expenses:

Expenses:

Domain research: $0

Domains: $44

Social Adr: $38

EZarticle spin credits: $180

Ezarticle link subscription: $30

AMR/UAW outsourcing: $60

Odesk writing: $100

Long Tail Pro: $72

ManageWP: $52

Copyscape: $10

Total expenses: $586

My total budgeted spending for the month is $726, so that means I have $140 left to spend for the month. That means I can build about 7 more websites.

  1. Hey Mike!

It’s interesting how you plan out your budget for the next month based on your expenses from the previous month. When Joe and I were looking to scale our site creation, I wanted to dump a bunch of our personal money into the process, but Joe wanted to scale it only on the profits we were making.

I didn’t like that…I knew it would take WAY to long to really build out a large amount of sites. We ended up compromising and decided to sell some of our sites…realizing all of that income up-front…and then reinvesting those profits into creating more sites. Ultimately, it worked out quite well and got us to a good level of site creation fairly quickly, heh.

    1. It’s funny that you say that because today I came to the conclusion that if I want to get serious I have to put in more money than I’m making each month to see some real returns in the future. Sure, it’s going to be more risky, but the benefits outweigh the risk.

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂
