So how much did Affiliate Income Secrets make?

Welcome! If you’re new to MikeFromMaine.com or are a new customer of Affiliate Income Secrets then you’re quickly going to see that I’m COMPLETELY transparent about my earnings. I feel like there’s no need to be secretive, especially in a niche where there are so many outrageous claims. My hope is that this helps guide you to having realistic expectations and you can see what results can be achieved when you run an honest and transparent business. You’ll find the results for my recent launch below:

The Affiliate Income Secrets launch has officially come to an end. It went from Wednesday, November 5th to Sunday, November 9th at midnight EST. During that time the price was under $10, but now that the launch is over it has increased to $17. If you haven’t picked it up yet you can still get it HERE.

So how did I do?

The launch started out with a bang with $10,000 in sales the first day. I had the support of some pretty big affiliates, which resulted in other affiliates joining the launch after they saw the numbers.

At its peak it was converting at over 20% throughout the funnel with an EPC of around $3.

On Saturday, November 8th I was awarded JVZoo Product of the Day, which resulted in a spike of traffic and 250 additional sales. Plus, a ton of affiliates applied to promote.

Total sales: $46,000

Total paid to affiliates: $26,825

Results:

Front end units sold: 2,451

Total sales throughout the sales funnel: 3,280

Total subscribers added to my email list: 3,290

Income from launch: $19,175

With any kind of product launch there are expenses. They are the following:

Sales copy revision: $297

Facebook ads to get JV partners: $270.86

Facebook retargeting ads: $401.26

JV prizes: $3,100

Total Expenses: $4,069.12

Total profit from launch: $15,105.88

      Yes, I always teach that you should start out as an affiliate and THEN create your own products. Why? Because you don’t really understand how the whole product launch scene works until you experience it as an affiliate. After you’ve had some experience there THEN you should create a product.

      Why do I teach that? Because that’s EXACTLY what I’ve done 🙂

    What if you took that near $30k you spent on JV’s and expenses, used it to build your own list. Even at $2 per lead you have 15,000 new people on your list instead of 3,290.

    Give them love, nurture ’em, and you can launch to them and do a private launch at a much higher price point. Makes you much more money at the end of the day and starts you off with a bigger audience…

      I think you misunderstood. I only spent $4,000 and I made $15,000 in profits and built an email list of over 3,000 subscribers.

      So I was actually paid $5 per lead 🙂

    You could do that, spending the $30k on ads and building your list. The difference is that the 3,300 Mike brought in are BUYERS.

    The issue becomes would you spend $30K to get 3,300 people who actually reached into their wallet or 15,000 optins?

      Yes I think my comment was unclear to Mike.

      I would rather the buyers, but there’s two points:

      1) there are ways to target only buyers and I do just that on Facebook.

      2) can you really consider them buyers if they purchased a $10 product?

        They’ve pulled out their credit card and bought something…they’re a buyer 🙂

        Will they buy higher priced items in the future? Some will. Some won’t. But at least you know that they have a proven history of purchasing products in the IM niche…even if it’s a sub-$10 product.

        I recently watched Ryan Deiss discuss just this issue. In his opinion even if the initial purchase (tripwire offer) is a single dollar, that separates the individual from the pack.

        In his/her own mind, a line has been crossed and they see you in a new light.

        Deiss has been running very cheap intro offers for some time now, so I’m guessing he’s seeing results.

  22. I’m sooo happy for you Mike! You are one of the friendliest and most supportive affiliates I get to work with. And your product showed me how to use a Hangout is seconds!

    As normally it’s me rushing about at launch time – having now done 16 IM launches it never stops being super busy and often stressful. By increasing the time I spend on other areas of the Business – I will be reducing the amount of ‘rushing’ at launch time. And as I often say … you learn more from talking to people than you do from reading so I love this business model!
