Every month I publish an income report…why? Good question 🙂
1. Accountability
With all the shiny objects out there it’s easy to spend WAY more than you’re earning. Luckily I realized this early on and I’ve kept detailed records of my expenses ever since. That being said, I know that there are certain expenses that are NECESSARY when running a business. As much as I don’t want to pay for them, I need to pay for my email autoresponder, website hosting, and video hosting every month. It’s just a part of doing business. There are other things that I buy as well, but I try my best to keep my expenses SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than my revenue. If I can do that then I’m ahead of the game.
2. Integrity
On my show I ask my guests a lot of personal questions. One that frequently comes up is “How much do you make?”. I feel like I need to reveal my own income if I’m going to be asking others the same question. It only seems right.
3. Perspective
There are a lot of online marketers out there who fake-it-till-they-make-it. In other words, they fudge their numbers and exaggerate their earnings in order to establish false authority in their niche. My goal is that by watching my income grow slowly over time you’ll realize that there is no get-rich-quick button.

Summer has begun…and it’s time for yet another income report 🙂
April and May turned out to be solid months due to the fact that I had a product launch in April, and then we did the backend webinar in May. Combined, that added another $30,000 in income to my bottom line.
All Moved In!
In last month’s income report I mentioned that we had bought a new apartment and we were waiting on military clearance to move in. Well, it came through, and on May 19th we moved into our new place!
My wife and I are super-happy in our new place as it’s right in the middle of a nice neighborhood…and it’s walking distance from the shore, restaurants, bars, and shops. Our last apartment was nice, but it was far away from where we usually like to go out, and that made it necessary to drive most places.
But moving in hasn’t been without drama.
We purchased new dining room and living room furniture about a month before we moved in to give them plenty of time to deliver. Unfortunately the company was two weeks late delivering AND they sent us showroom furniture instead of the new furniture that we had purchased. The couches arrived with stains on them…which was totally unacceptable. On top of that, the store has been dragging their feet in processing the return…and it’s been unwanted stress added to moving. No fun. I even opened a credit card dispute…which is something I take very seriously. But thankfully today we learned that they are honoring the refund and will come and take the furniture tomorrow 🙂
Road Trip to Germany and Austria
At the end of April, we took a road trip with a couple friend of ours to Germany and Austria. We started out in Munich…and of course, we had a few beers at the famous Hofbräuhaus beer hall. I really liked it there as they served BIG beers, delicious food, and there was traditional Bavarian live music and dancers. We took this trip RIGHT after our Board Commander product launch…so it was a nice break after the stress of a product launch.
After going to Munich we rented a car and drove down to a small town surrounded by mountains called Garmische. It was snowing when we arrived, but in the morning we awoke to see that there was an amazing view from our hotel.
After Garmische, we drove to Salzburg, Austria. On our way there I got my first speeding ticket…and they even sent me a photo 🙂 Luckily the fine was only $40.
We spent a few days in Salzburg and its’ surrounding cities. Here are some pictures:
The REST of May
April was a productive AND fun month with a product launch AND a mini vacation…but May was just a blur. Between moving into our new apartment and preparing for the Autonars launch in June, it just flew by…but with lots of stress. Just little things like transferring over our Internet service, registering for water, gas, electric…it just seemed to never end. But of course it finally did 🙂
So that’s it for April and May. I’ll be back soon with my income report for June.
